Patti Smith Unveils Photo Exhibition

American musician Patti Smith is set to unveil a photo exhibition in Gateshead, England.

The exhibition – which features twenty black and white photographs - will take place at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Arts, from May 16th to June 28th. 

In the display Smith will pay tribute to her artistic heroes, including the sculpturer, Brancusi, and the poets, Yeats and Shelley.

The exhibition coincides with Smith’s UK Tour, which includes a performance in Gateshead on May 23rd.
