Sly and the Family Stone have announced details of their first UK show in nearly a quarter of a century.

The funk pioneers will play The Opera House on Christchurch Road, Bournemouth on July 28.

Support at the very special show comes from Unkle Jam and The Baker Brothers. Tickets are available now.

Sly and the Family Stone formed in 1967 and in the ensuing 16 years up until their split, pushed the funk, soul and psychedelic music boundaries.
