Lily Allen has questioned American Immigration after revealing she’s been subjected to some “dubious” questioning from officials.
The popstar says she faced “dubious” questioning a couple of weeks ago when crossing the Canada-US border about being “caught in possession” of an unnamed substance, and claims she was taken into an “interogation room” at Seattle Airport yesterday when returning to the country.
Allen says immigration officials claimed she had been contacted by police after allegedly attacking a photogrpaher last month, something the singer denies.
She writes on her Myspace site, “I have not received any letter and I have not had any contact with the police , so it seemed odd to me that the United States Citizenship and Immigration services, should have access to such information before even I have been notified of these charges or enquiries.”
With a possible hint of sarcasm Lily concludes, “I doubt that an United States Government agency would use unreliable sources such as Wikipedia or Google News, quoting tabloid gossip and lies as factual evidence, would they?”
Wonder how they'll treat her now after googling this story?
