Explosions In The Sky have cancelled all of their upcoming dates due to a family illness.
The Texan band had been due to kick off a comprehensive set of Summer dates on May 20th at All Tomorrows Parties, in Somerset. That date, and ones across Europe have now all been cancelled.
Posting on their official website that band said: “We have had to cancel all of our remaining summer shows (all shows scheduled for May, July, and August). We're facing a serious illness in one of our families and travelling around the world and playing shows is just not an option for us at the moment.”
Although there is no mention of when the dates will be rescheduled the band did add: “We are truly sorry about this. We'll try and keep in touch about when any of these shows might be made up or when we might be touring again.”
