Kula Shaker Plot New UK Tour

And there’s an album update as well…

Kula Shaker have announced plans for an intimate UK tour beginning in Manchester on June 12th.

After five years out of the limelight, the former Britpop giants will play five dates, including two London shows, before concluding the tour in Nottingham on June 17th.

The band are expected to showcase tracks from their forthcoming – currently untitled – third album.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday 11th May, priced £14 (London £15).

Kula Shaker's tour dates are as follows:

Manchester, Academy 3 – June 12
London, Hoxton Bar & Grill - 13
London, Bush Hall - 15
Bristol, Thekla - 16
Nottingham, Rescue Rooms - 17

The new album is actually called ”Strangefolk,” which was the potential title for ”Peasants, Pigs, and Astronauts” back in the day!

The london dates are right in between my A level exams and a Muse concert....there’s no way I can go :( This was the band i GREW UP listening to and I thought I’d never get to see them live..i’m SO BUMMED!
