Coming on like a Welsh Sigur Ros, 'Un Cyfle' is a pretty blast of atmospheric noodling that like the work of the Icelanders is tailor made for TV execs looking to soundtrack endless clips of sports, animals, rioting etc. Very literally a cycle , it's built around a repeated stirring keyboard loop, ascending gracefully with the aid of strings and Dilwiyn Llwyd's Welsh language vocals which are really employed as an another instrument. The cycle reaches a frenzy of screeching guitars before gently winding down again into a gentle stream of ambient noise. All highly accomplished.
