The Twang and Good Shoes To Headline Free Event

The Twang are set to headline a free music event in Middlesbrough next month.

Funded entirely by the council, Middlesbrough Music Live takes place in the city centre on Sunday, June 3.

The main stage features The Twang, Tony Christie, The Dub Pistols featuring Terry Hall and new kid Newton Faulkner.

The Ten Feet Tall stage in the courtyard of Middlesbrough Town Hall features a bevy on act – Good Shoes, The Dykeenies, Foals, Kubichek!, We Start Fires, Envy Corps, The Films, One Night Only and To My Boy.

The Evening Gazette Sounds Stage in the crypt of the town hall sees Yourcodenameis: Milo, I Was A Cub Scout, Priestess and The Ghost of a Thousand all play.

The Hours, Amy MacDonald, Lucky Soul and Mayor McCa complete the bill on the Disco stage.

The likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian and Razorlight have played Middlesbrough Music Live in previous years.
