Kaiser Chiefs and Kasabian are amongst the big names playing Radio 1’s Big Weekend later this month.
Also playing the two day bash are Scissor Sisters, Mika, Razorlight, Natahsha Bedingfield and The Fratellis.
The two day ‘festival’ will be hosted by the genial Jo Whiley and takes place on May 19-20 at Moor Park in Preston. Entrance for the 30,000 revellers is completely free (ahh that’s where our TV licence money is going).
The general public must register for their chance to go from 8pm next Monday (May 7).
This year, the Big Weekend will boast a main stage, a new music stage and an outdoor arena.
Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson said "The Kaiser Chiefs are pretty much delighted to be playing Radio 1's Big Weekend.
"We did it a couple of years ago and no-one really knew who we were, so it will be nice to come back as megastars."
