Maximo Park have revealed the full details of their next single.
The melodic ‘Books From Boxes’ will be released via Warp Records on June 11 and will come complete with two new tracks.
The first track is a cover of The Proclaimers’ seminal smash ‘(I Wanna Be) 500 Miles’, recorded for Radio 1 earlier this year.
The band then go all iLiKETRAiNS on us again with the tribute to the deceased ‘Dom McPhee’ – the track is part of their obituary series which has also featured Dusty Springfield.
The band continue their sell-out UK tour tonight with a show in Bristol. The stint winds up at the London Forum on May 12.
