Ringo Starr: The Police Renunion Was 'Boring'

Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has branded The Police’s reunion “boring”.

The cod-reggae three piece played together for the first time in over twenty years at the Grammy Awards earlier this year – but Ringo was less than impressed with their much-hyped performance.

He says, “I thought the opening of the Grammys was really boring. The Police reunion was boring."

That's not very good publicity for Sting and co - who are soon heading out on a money-spinning string of live dates around the world.

Ringo’s a cheeky twat, when was the last time you saw The Beatles on E4’s amazing ’Popworld’ music magazine programme, aimed at trendy young individuals with disposable income, like myself????

I have to disagree with Ringo’s comment myself, but that doesn’t make him a cheeky twat...By the way, if the Beatles had a reunion, they would be on ”Popworld”. The fact that people are still talking about them nearly 40 years after their demise speaks for itself.No need to over react..
