ShitDisco have been forced to cancel the remaining two dates of their UK tour after bass/synth guitar player Joel Stone came down with a mystery illness.
They will now not play their gigs in London tonight (April 25) and Manchester tomorrow (April 26) although the dates will be rescheduled.
Joel fell ill in Aberdeen on Monday (April 23) and checked himself into hospital overnight where he underwent some tests.
After the Aberdeen show was cancelled, Joel discharged himself the following morning to join the rest of the band in Newcastle, where sadly his condition deteriorated and he was readmitted to hospital.
Although tests are yet to reveal exactly what the condition is, Joel is now in a stable condition.
Speaking about the cancellations the band said: “We still don't know what's wrong, but he should be going for more tests soon.
“We're really sorry to anyone who had tickets or was planning to come down, but we really have no other option.
“Right now we just all hope Joel gets better. Thanks for all your well wishes! We'll pass them on to Joel.”
