LCD Soundsystem have been covered by Franz Ferdinand on the flip side to the electronic outfit’s new single.
James Murphy releases ‘All My Friends’, the second single from ‘Sound of Silver’, on May 21 and has duly drafted in his friends to help out.
On the first of two 7”s, the Franz boys take on the title track with a little help from esteemed producer Erol Alkan, while the second track sees LCD take on Joy Division’s ‘No Love Lost.’
The second 7” sees Velvet Underground legend John Cale contribute his cover of the lead song.
The CD is augmented by a brand spanking new LCD Soundsystem track ‘Freaky Out/Starey Eyes.’
