We’re proud to announce that the quite brilliant 35 Seconds are the winners of Gigwise’s Indie Idle.
The Birmingham five-piece will play a set at the Underworld in Camden at midnight as part of The Camden Crawl.
The panel of judges – which consisted of xfm’s John Kennedy, eminent journalist Mark Beaumont, Paul Harris from B-Unique and Richard O'Donovan from Universal - voted unanimously to put the band through.
John Kennedy said of 35 Seconds: “It took us less than 35 seconds to pick them. They’re an extremely exciting band and it will be interesting to see how the next twelve months pan out for them.”
The band were up against Edelweiss Pirates and The Hartes in the final three of the competition held at Bar Vinyl in Camden this afternoon.
Expect great things from 35 Seconds. Check them out here
