Bright Eyes Score High In The US Chart

Bright Eyes entered the American Billboard chart at number four with his latest release ‘Cassadaga.’

Conor Oberst and his band sold 58,000 copies Stateside to score his highest ever chart entry.

Under different chart rules to the UK, the Billboard chart was topped by the latest ‘Now’ compilation which shifted 89,000 copies.

Bright Eyes’ previous two efforts ‘I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning’ and ‘Digital Ash in a Digital Urn’ entered at ten and 15 respectively.

Album sales Stateside are suffering from a slump at the moment, down 32% on the same week last year.
