Camden Crawl Indie Idle Panellists Revealed

We’ve already told you who the ten finalists are for our Camden Crawl Indie Idle competition and now we can reveal who will be judging the bands on the day.

A group of music industry luminaries plus our very own New Bands Editor Dan Melia will be passing comment over the bands during the two day events at the Crawl.

On the first day of the Crawl the panel will run the rule over demos from all ten of the bands before deciding on the three that will go through.

Then on the second day the three bands will get the chance to perform live in front of the panel before the final winner is chosen.

Both events will take place in Bar Vinyl in Camden with Thursday running from 3:30pm until 5pm and Fridays from 1pm until 2:30pm.

Here are the list of panellists:

    Thursday

    Dan Melia (Gigwise)
    John Kennedy (XFM)
    Ben Perreau (Time Out)
    Matt Edwards (EMI)
    Guy Lowman (Fierce Panda)

    Friday

    Dan Melia (Gigwise)
    John Kennedy (XFM)
    Paul Harris (B Unique)
    Mark Beaumont (NME)
    Richard O’Donovan (Universal)
