The Cooper Temple Clause – ‘Head’ (Sequel) Released 09/04/07

Third single ‘Head’ from their recent album ‘Make This Your Own’ is certainly a grower, on first listen it’s uninspiring stuff, but slowly it chips away in your mind until it firmly sets up camp with simple yet stylish hooks and an atmospheric chorus. The Cooper Temple Clause have been around awhile now but can still compete with their snotty-nosed upstarts and this single certainly proves that. Ben Gautrey’s vocals are the main appeal to the song as a gravely voice sings “You wanna leave it but you, can’t forget about” which sums up the single nicely, a few listens and you’ll be hooked.
