The Happy Mondays Announce Low-Key Shows

The Happy Mondays have announced details of two low-key shows preceding their appearance at the Coachella festival in California.

Shaun Ryder and co. play dates at Bristol Academy 2 on April 20 and Nottingham Rescue Rooms a day later.

Tickets went on sale at 9am this morning and cost £22.50 each. The Coachella festival appearance takes place on April 29.

The band have been busy over recent months recording their first album in 15 years with Bjork and U2 producer Howie B. The new dates will be the first chance to hear some of this material.

As previously reported, the Manchester band hit the road throughout May and June for their full-length UK tour.
