Mogwai are set to cover the Pixies classic ‘Gouge Away’ on an upcoming tribute album.
The Scottish post-rockers will donate their version of the ultimate ‘Doolittle’ track on the album ‘Dig for Fire: A Pixies Tribute.’
Also appearing on the collection are the likes of British Sea Power, The Might Be Giants, Dinosaur Jr’s JC Mascis, The Rosebuds and OK GO.
The album has been given a US release date of November 13 through American Laundromat Records, with a UK release yet to be confirmed.
