Keane and Feeder are amongst the names designing customised Dog tags that will be raising money for War Child when they go on sale.
Retailing at HMV stores nationwide at £2, all of the profits - approximately £1.54 per item – will be going to the very worthy charity.
Also designing a Dog tag is Leeds lass Corinne Bailey Rae. The charity is hoping that the items will become as popular as the charity wristbands that were the trend two years ago.
Speaking about the project, Keane songwriter Tim Rice-Oxley said of their involvement: “We contributed a song to the second album Help A Day in The Life, we know for example that the money raised for that went directly to buy a building in Afghanistan, which helped take children out of adult’s prisons.”
