Michael Eavis says that the new Glastonbury ticket registration system has successfully beaten off the touts.
Following the festivals full ticket allocation being sold out in less than two hours yesterday (April 1) Eavis says he is overjoyed by the success.
He told the BBC: "I'm absolutely thrilled. It seems to be a 100% success. "It's probably the fastest time we have ever sold out."
So far no listings have been removed from eBay purporting to be selling tickets for the festival.
Eavis added: Two to three years after we started trying to get rid of touts, we've achieved it.
"And people will be able to keep their tickets for ever and ever because we won't need to tear them in half any more. It'll be a great keepsake."
