Perfectly capturing the electro revival christened the ‘New Rave’ movement, I Say Marvin are young, hip and quite possibly wearing tight trousers.Don’t let that put you off, ‘Powerdown’ is an awesome clash of electronic noise with chugging riffs and killer hooks. Easily pictured jumping around in a Maximo Park meets Duracell bunny fashion with a few pouty looks thrown in for good measure. Leaving Uni to start a band may be the ultimate dream for some but few manage to make it look as effortlessly cool or infectious as I Say Marvin. Klaxons, who?
