Bloc Party Frontman Loves Taking Ecstasy

Fresh from launching a verbal attack on Oasis, Bloc Party frontman has made another revelation – he loves taking ecstasy.

The singer says he takes the Class A drug as it gives him a sense of “euphoria” and makes him appreciate music more.

Okereke – who makes several references to drugs on the band’s latest album ‘A Weekend In The City’ – also says he is partial to cocaine apart from one glaring side effect.

He said: "Cocaine can be very attractive, very seductive. But for me, it's bad news because that drug can really damage your voice. The drug I do enjoy taking is ecstasy, which gives a real sense of euphoria.

“It makes your senses so much more acute. It makes music sound so powerful. And it makes touch incredibly sensual. You know, every touch is orgasmic.”

However, in the interview with Uncut Magazine, he admits such behaviour is mainly routed in the past, saying: "These days I don't even bother with pills that often. To be honest, I haven't taken anything for a whole year."

    • So he likes a pill or two? Just like hundreds of thousands of others every weekend. get over it. It would be more newsworthy if you reported he didn’t like drugs FFS.
