The Flaming Lips For Indian Summer Festival

The Flaming Lips, The Rapture and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have all been confirmed for the Indian Summer Festival.

The event takes place at Victoria Park in Glasgow on July 14 and 15, with more acts set to be announced very shortly.

Explaining the idea behind the festival, organisers said in a statement: “The concept is for you to get to watch best-loves bands in a great, laid back setting and also get to sample some new, breaking music that you might not have discovered otherwise.

“We’re releasing the line-up slowly and call it a weekender because, for us and the type of music lover this appeals to, every act is an attraction.”

Optimo will also be hosting their own arena at this year’s bash. More details to be announced shortly.
