Gary Numan is to release a Peel Sessions album later this spring.
The album is available on CD format only and features 16 live tracks recorded during three sessions for John Peel.
The first set dates from January 1979 – three months before Numan released the seminal album ‘Replicas’ with Tubeway Army. Tracks recorded include ‘Me! I Disconnect From You’ and ‘I Nearly Married A Human.’
Five months later, his next session featured the massive tracks ‘Cars’, ‘Airlane’, ‘Films’ and ‘Conversation.’
The final instalment was recorded some 22 years later in July 2001 when Numan was personally invited on air by John Peel. It drew from his then-current album ‘Pure.’
‘Gary Numan: The Complete John Peel Sessions’ is released through Cooking Vinyl on May 7.
