Amy Winehouse has admitted that she used to self-harm as a child.
The Camden singer was recently photographed with what appeared to be cuts on her arm, sparking fears for the star.
In a fresh interview, she says that such behaviour was limited only to her past. She said: “It’s a funny thing morbid curiosity. I’m talking about when I was nine.”
She continued to Q Magazine: “What does it feel like? Ow, that ****ing hurts. It’s probably the worst thing I’ve done.”
The recent cuts on her arms were put down to a tumble, but Winehouse admits that she is still self-destructive when drunk.
Explaining how she punishes herself, she added: “Not punching myself in the face, but slapping. I drank a whole bottle of champagne and then just got depressed. I don’t feel like I looked good. And I’m quite destructive when drunk.”
