The inimitable Mark E Smith has formed a new band with two members of Mouse on Mars.
Smith, Andi Toma and Jan St Werner go under the rather moniker Von Südenfed and will release their debut material later this spring through Domino Records.
Firstly, the single ‘Fledermaus Can’t Get Enough’ will be released on May 7 as a 12” and digital download.
They then follow this with their debut full-length ‘Tromatic Reflexxions’ two weeks later.
The album has been dubbed as combining “the genre-smashing attack of early-millennia club music with Mark E. Smith’s free-associating visionary wordplay.”
