A film chronicling the British 2 Tone scene of the early 80s is set to be made and released in 2008.
Entitled ‘Clubbed’ the movie is being directed by the man behind ‘Taxi!’ Neil Thompson and produced by ‘Shameless’ creator Paul Abbott.
It will also star ‘Shameless’ actress Maxine Peake.
Set in Coventry the plot will centre around a factory worker on the verge of a nervous breakdown who’s life is turned around after meeting a group of club dorrmen.
The soundtrack will be created by Paul Hear of M-People and feature Ska, Northern Soul and R&B tracks.
