Well, hasn’t dating changed these days? It may be a traditional view, but here was Gigwise thinking that fluttering eyelashes and a bit of leg were the way to a man’s heart. Apparently not, according to The Bird and the Bee, who think a healthy dose of swear words, set over a relaxed background of lounge music does the trick. It works: the single isn’t bad. Chilled out electro beats pulse underneath ethereal vocals on a track that has enough of a quirk to show up on Radio One’s “we’re trendy and we love new music” radar. But it is the remix from Peaches – that filthy father****er herself – that really gives the track an attitude. Waving the magic wand of dirty electro that it seems only Peaches can do, this remix really gives the track some much needed balls.
