Smashing Pumpkins, Chili Peppers and Razorlight Headline Carling Weekend

The Smashing Pumpkins, Razorlight and Red Hot Chili Peppers have been confirmed as the headliners for this year’s Carling Weekend.

Razorlight play alongside Kings of Leon, Interpol, Maximo Park and The Gossip on the opening night of Reading and the Saturday at Leeds.

Meanwhile The Smashing Pumpkins play the opening night at Leeds and the Sunday at Reading alongside Nine Inch Nails, Lostprophets, Fall Out Boy and Funeral for a Friend.

Red Hot Chili Peppers do the honours on the closing night of Leeds and the Saturday at Reading, playing above Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Panic! At The Disco and Angels and Airwaves.

Other acts confirmed for the weekend are NME Stage headliners Ash, Klaxons and The View, plus the likes of CSS, LCD Soundsystem, We Are Scientists and The Twang.

Tickets for this year’s bash are on sale now. The three day events take place from August 24-26.
