Peter Gabriel is to perform at this year’s Womad festival to mark its 25th year.
The former Genesis frontman co-founded the festival back in 1982 and this year’s event will see a return to the original site at Charlton Park in Wiltshire.
Speaking about his appearance, Gabriel said: "It has been wonderful to see what has happened with Womad over the last 25 years. It is different from any other festival I've even been to.
"Although I usually get to enjoy it from the audience rather than the stage, I'm delighted to come back for this 25th anniversary."
Gabriel will perform on the opening day of the festival which takes place from July 27-29. The line up will feature 70 artists from an impressive 40 countries.
