It's hard to stir any emotion when listening to The Rapture's latest single. It may have overlaying influences of LCD Soundsystem and sound a little like a Beck track you just can't place, but at the same time its melody is a bore with lyrics barely wondering far from 'nah nah nah.' Granted an added drum cymbal crash during the second verse helps but as the cheap synthesizers also try and get in on the action the track suddenly becomes a bit too busy. These elements are added to bring life to the song, but unfortunately only makes it worse.
