Glastonbury organisers have revealed that 395,000 people registered with the new ticketing system for the festival.
The application process is now closed after the passing of last night’s midnight deadline although registering your details does not guarantee you tickets.
145,000 tickets will be available to the general public when they go on sale on April 1 and organisers say they hope the new system will cut the amount going to touts.
So far bands confirmed for this year’s festival include Arctic Monkeys, Bjork, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, The Who and Arcade Fire.
