Anybody who wants to register for their chance to get tickets to this year’s Glastonbury Festival needs to do so by midnight tonight (March 5).
The original deadline was last Wednesday (February 28), but Michael Eavis gave fans an extra five days due to the unprecedented demand.
Around 1,600 registrations were completed an hour on Wednesday alone, with some people experiencing difficulties in entering their details.
Those who have registered on Glastonbury’s official website need to vie for their chance for tickets on April 1.
Festival organiser Michael Eavis said of the registration process: "It's gone very well. It was a bit slow to start with, but it's picked up and reached a bit of a crescendo over the past two days.
"People have taken it all very well because it does seem like you have to go through a lot of obstacles to get to the festival. They could have said `it's not worth it'."
This year’s festival features performances from the likes of Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party and The Who.
