Michael Jackson arrived in Japan yesterday (March 4) for a rare public outing later in the week.
The King of Pop was greeted by hordes of fans as he arrived at Tokyo airport – the first time he has been in the country since he was cleared of child molestation in 2005.
Jacko will be attending a ‘Platinum VIP Party’ in the capital, where attendees have paid up to £1,800 to spend a minute in his company.
For those that cannot afford to attend this bash, Jackson will also be attending a fan art contest, where the lucky winners get to have their photo taken with the star.
Although it hasn’t been disclosed how much Jackson will be receiving for his appearances, it’s thought to be a lucrative sum.
It’s also not yet known whether Jackson will be performing live at the event.
