First Bands Confirmed For V Festival

The first list of acts for this year’s V Festival has been announced with headline sets from Snow Patrol and Foo Fighters.

The event which takes place over the weekend of August 18/19 will also see performances from The Killers, The Kooks, Kasabian and Editors.

The annual festival continues its residency at the two sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire with tickets going on sale from March 1 (Thursday).

Also set to play are the likes of Lily Allen, Babyshambles, Mika, Manic Street Preachers, Amy Winehouse and Pink.
