More Ocean Colour Scene
More Ocean Colour Scene The much-derided/much-loved Ocean Colour Scene are set to release a complete collection of their BBC sessions on digital-download for the first time.
Following on from the likes of Pulp, The La’s, Free and PJ Harvey, Ocean Colour Scene’s BBC Sessions album will feature fifteen tracks, including their Britpop-era classics ‘Riverboat Song’ and ‘The Day We Caught The Train.’
Speaking about the release the band’s frontman Steve Craddock said: “We recorded so many sessions over the last 10 years for the BBC, it's great to pull out the old stuff and hear it again. The BBC has a built a fantastic archive over the years and to be part of the drive to make it all available to download is pretty mad. We're really chuffed.”
Therapy? are the other act who will issue a BBC Sessions album. Both records are released on 26 February.
