Much has been made of My Device over the past 18 months, and the forthcoming single ‘Eat Lead’ is testament to just why that is. The Brighton four-piece have combined a crudely impassioned and effective vocal, with stop start chunky guitar riffs and a foot stamping beat to create a triumphant attention grabbing release. It’s elbows out, crowd shoving, alt rock fun and games all the way, not once failing to goad the listener into a frantic and infected agitated state of pure musical pleasure.
