Scottish DJ and man of the moment Calvin Harris is to work with Kylie Minogue on her new album.
The former shelf stacker from Dumfries was brought to the pop starlet’s attention after building up a cult following on Myspace.
His latest single ‘Acceptable In The 80s’ is released on March 12 by SonyBMG and is already a massive club hit.
A spokesperson for Kylie confirmed: "She has been working on some tracks with Calvin. Kylie heard stuff he'd done and liked it. Things are going well."
Harris had almost given up on his music career after numerous attempts to get signed and years of sending of demos to record labels.
He is due to support Faithless on their next UK tour.
