David Lee Roth says that he hopes the current Van Halen reunion will be permanent after the band rehearsed together for the first time in over twenty years.
Roth and Eddie Van Halen have been jamming in preparation for the bands comeback tour and he says their relationship is “combustible”.
And Roth thinks he’s in better shape now than in the 80s to front the band which spawned a million copycats.
He told Rolling Stone: “My voice is arguably better than it was when I left the band back when.”
Going to speak about whether the reunion will be permanent added: “God willin’, and the creek don’t run dry, just like Grandma Roth used to say.
“Barring any act of God or Ferrari…yeah.”
