Oasis have revealed that they have around ten songs written that could appear on their new album.
The Manchester outfit admit they are in the early stages and are yet to hook up with their producer to discuss ideas, but some work has begun.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s appearance at the Brit Awards, Noel said: “Our producer Dave Sardy is coming over for the Brits, so I guess we’ll have a chat and kick around some ideas. I’ve got eight songs that I’m pretty happy with.”
He continued to the NME: “Liam has got one or two that he thinks are brilliant. I fancy doing some more elaborate with this one. It’s about time.”
It’s not yet known when the follow-up to 2005’s ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’ will see the light of day.
