The White Stripes, Lily Allen, Flaming Lips For Bonnaroo

The White Stripes, The Flaming Lips and Lily Allen are amongst the first batch of artists confirmed to appear at the Bonnaroo festival.

Also appearing at the American festival are the likes of The Police, Tool, Franz Ferdinand, The Decemberists and Kings of Leon.

The festival takes place at its usual home of Manchester, Tennessee from June 14-17.

Tickets go on sale from Friday, February 23 at 12pm local time. The bill is expected to expand with a plethora of new acts over the coming weeks.

More artists confirmed include Wilco, The Roots, DJ Shadow, Regina Spektor, Wolfmother and Damien Rice.

Last year’s extravaganza was headlined by the mighty Radiohead.
