“What makes paradise for you?” asks Sammy Jo, Eskimo Brit’s lead singer and drummer – yeah you read right, drummer. Well Sammy, sadly it would probably be somewhere where this single wasn’t playing. ‘Paradise,’ is the first release from Eskimo Brit, a trio who won the UK’s Unsigned Bands, battle of the bands competition in 2006. At just under three minutes in length, it’s a concise dash of American country-pop that features hand-claps and a big, BIG voice. Sadly the song fails to create the atmosphere that all its ingredients suggest it should possess.
