Hailing from Ontario, Canada, the Tokyo Police Club was raised from the ashes of a previous band featuring all four of the current members. After a few months apart the guys realised that they missed playing together so TPC were born. An invitation to play the Pop Montreal Festival brought about the desire to pursue their music ambitions for real.

They say that their sound is "Like a swift kick in the pants followed by a raucous dance party." There is an instantly recognisable North American style to them with a garage disco mix of ‘Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ and ‘The Strokes’

Seven track mini album ‘A Lesson In Crime’ is now available and a hectic tour schedule taking in UK, European and North American venues will ensure the band are occupied from February through to late April.
