The Vacation

Despite looking like four ravaged heroin addicts desperately searching for their next hit, The Vacation make life-affirmingly positive and gritty rock n'roll music.

Hailing from Illinois and now based in Hollywood, they are fronted by singer Ben Tegel and guitarist Steve Tegel. After building up a huge following in the States, they launched an attack on Britain in the summer of 2003 and instantly made an impression. They stormed the Reading and Leeds with their cathartic live performances and followed this with a session for Xfm.

Their debut EP 'They Were the Sons' was released in November 2003. In September 2004 The Vacation’s debut full-length, the refreshingly volatile 'The Band From World War Zero' was unleashed.
