Laura Veirs has revealed details about her forthcoming third album ‘Saltbreakers.’
The follow up to 2005’s critically acclaimed, ‘Year Of Meteors,’ will be released on March 26. The album will be preceded by the single, ‘Don’t Lose Youself,’ which is due out on March 19.
For her new album, Veirs has maintained her collaboration with long time production partner Tucker Martine (The Decemberists). Although a full track listing has yet to be confirmed, Veirs revealed that one track, ‘To The Country,’ was recorded with an eight-person Baptist Choir.
Most of the long player was recorded in Seattle with Veirs’ touring band. She plans to hit the road in support of the album across the UK in April.
