Pop paedophile Gary Glitter has had his sentence for child molestation cut in Vietnam.
The disgraced singer has had three months shaved off his three year sentence by authorities.
Glitter – real name Paul Gadd – was convicted in March 2006 for the sexual abuse of two Vietnamese girls.
Judge Tran Thi Thien Huong said that tied in with good behaviour, Glitter looks set for release in August 2008.
The decision is connected to an incentive to reduce inmates’ jail terms for good behaviour as part of the Lunar New Year amnesty in the country.
