Badly Drawn Boy has announced the winner of his Chip Shop Tour competition.
As previously reported on Gigwise, in true Big Brother style, front man Damon Gough listed ten Chip Shops on his website. His fans then voted for which ’chippy’ they wanted him to play in.
The successful chip shop was Bristol’s Magnet Chip Shop, where Badly Drawn Boy will now play on February 17. Damon will also play gigs at the two runner up chip shops, London’s, Toffs (February 15) and Grimsby’s, Smiths (February 23).
The shows will be book ended by gigs at more conventional venues across the country. Tickets for the Chip Shop shoes are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis.
The singer has also announced that the next single to be taken off his album, 'Born In The UK,’ will be, 'A Journey from A to B,' which will be available on February 26th.
