The Smashing Pumpkins Unveil Live Shows

They play two European festivals...

The Smashing Pumpkins have confirmed details of their first shows for 2007.

The seminal rock outfit play the Rock Am Ring in Germany on June 2 and then the Rock Im Park a day later.

They join the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance Korn, Slayer and Linkin Park on the bill.

As previously reported, Billy Corgan recently wrote on the band’s blog that they are ‘dusting off’ their new album which will be released in time for the shows in the summer.

Tickets for the Rock Am festival and Rock Im The Park are on sale now.

Billy should play some UK dates to satisfy the faithful Brits who stuck by him for all the years he was recording prog rock dirges and wearing dresses on stage. Kudos where it’s due...
