Yes, The Little Ones are nice enough. Nice vocals. Nice plinky-plonky keyboards. Nice rambling guitars. All very nice. But nice is such a bad way to feel about music. Music should make you want to get drunk. Music should make you cry. Music should make you want to kiss a boy. This is not the case with The Little Ones. Their same old same old stance on indie chill is about as exciting as a pina colada with no pineapple and rum. So that’d just leave the coconut then? Yep. This is a CD for your mum’s coffee table. It’d make a perfect coaster.
