My Chemical Romance have hit back at Kasabian over comments the Leicester band made about them last year.
Shortly after Gerrard Way and co. hit the number one slot with ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’ last autumn, Tom Meighan launched a rant against the emo favourites.
He said at the time: “It’s like ventriloquist’s music. It’s weird and dark. They don’t have anything positive to say.
“The only good news is that it won’t last. These clowns won’t be around for much longer. Their make-up will flake off and the scene will die out. And it can’t happen soon enough.”
Now, reacting to the tirade, Gerrard Way told the NME: "It was obviously meant as a slam, but it was so poorly worded that it ended up sounding like a compliment!"
"'Weird and dark'... that just makes them kinda ignorant. This band has never had a bullshit war ever. I haven't found an opponent worthy enough yet.
“If you're gonna take me on, you'd better have the balls for it! If you're gonna talk shit about us, you'd better have the juice. And we haven't found anybody with the juice yet."

Lets face it, everyone already knows that Kasabian are ignorant..
Everything else aside, the fact you call them ”mcr” makes you a bit of a ted, doesn’t it?
When the emo fad fucks off for good in about 12 months time - we’ll see who’s still making albums -Kasabian or My Emo Screaming Cock Romance.
To be honest, I’ve HEARD of My Chemical Romance (everyone here in the states seems to think they’re great), but I can’t say that I know any of their music.
I DO however know Kasabian and I’ve partied with them a couple of times. Let me tell you, the last person you want to get in a shit flinging war with is Tom. He’ll kick your ass. He’s great with the rips, although I can’t say that what he said about the Emo Queens was one of his better jabs! Not 
- Personally MCR rule, Ksabian make music that long echos where Oasis left off and that my friends was SH*T.
